On this episode of the 11th Inning Stretch,
This week, Paul discusses the ever-changing playoff picture for each of the teams in the National League. The Cardinals shot themselves in the foot while the Rockies took advantage of the chaos. Suddenly, the Dodgers and Cards may be on the outside looking in. Also, many people are quick to blame umpires for any wrongdoing in a game. Paul sticks up for the officials and explains why in the case of Matt Carpenter being ejected on Tuesday, we should not be blaming the officials for the outcome of the game. As usual, the show is finished up by Paul talking about the upcoming weekend. This time, he previews the Rockies series against the Nationals, the Dodgers going to San Francisco, and of course the Cardinals visiting the Cubs.
